Let God Prevail Week 14

Hey Guys!! The city I'm currently serving in, Chemnitz, was voted the culture capital of Europe earlier this week! We also got the news that there will be some new measures put in place for all of Germany since the number of coronavirus cases has been increasing here. Some of these include no gatherings greater than 2 households, and restaurants must be taken out only. Thankfully the rules won't be affecting church service and our missionary work much. Other than that this week has been pretty usual. We've just been busy teaching friends and members. Meeting with members is always a great time. We usually chat with them for a while, get to know them better, and share a spiritual thought. For our past few appointments, we talked about President Russell M. Nelson's talk from this last general conference "Let God Prevail". In this talk, he shared how recently met with two Hebraic scholars and they shared with him that the word Israel translates to "Let God Prevail". What do you guys think of when you hear this phrase "Let God Prevail"? I mean God has already prevailed of course. He is all-powerful and the creator of this universe. This phrase reminds me of the scripture Moroni 10:32 "Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God". To me, this phrase means putting God as the first priority in life. To have faith and follow him in all that you do. We can do this by keeping his commandments cheerfully for example: by reading the scriptures, praying often, attending church, being kind to others, etc. Well, life is busy and it's not always easy putting God first. That's why it's would like you to stop and think, "what's stopping me from putting God first?". I know that if you ask God he will give you an answer and if you act on that he will bless you immensely. I have received so much joy and peace in this life by putting God first and I know you can too. Deuteronomy 28:2 "And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God." I love you guys and hope you are doing well.
