Hey Guys!! This week has been quite interesting.  A lot of people here have been talking to us about the election and I can't believe how crazy it's been. I woke up Wednesday morning expecting the results to be out within a couple of hours but found out that it would take at least a couple more days since the mail-in ballots were taking a long time to tally. After anxiously waiting we finally found out Biden had won on Saturday. I knew Georgia was going to be a swing state, but I didn't expect it and many others to be so close. I wanted to do my part and vote but I never got the absentee ballot that I requested. 😠😠😠 It finally arrived today.  Oh well, I can still try and vote in the run-off election. Hopefully, Biden does well and can manage this Corona Virus pandemic. Other than checking the headlines every couple of hours, we have been busy teaching friends and members. My companion, Elder Rowe, is a fantastic violin player and we had the idea for him to play in the park and put out a sign that says " No money please, but we'd love a conversation". After playing for a bit a small crowd gathered. I was able to talk to quite a few people about why we are here and what we do. It was a ton of fun!  Unfortunately, we weren't able to get any contacts out of it, Hopefully, next time. 🤞 On Saturday my former cross country teammates ran at the State Championships and placed 9th. I'm proud of you guys for all your hard work this season and I am happy that you guys beat Lambert haha. You guys rock, keep killing it! At the beginning of the transfer, I finished reading the Book of Mormon all the way through. Since then I have studied Joseph Smith's History and some chapters in the new testament. A few days ago I started doctrine and covenants (a collection of revelation received for the building up of our church), I am so incredibly fascinated by the revelation we have received for our time. I know that God gives guidance to his children and I am so thankful he has given us modern-day prophets. Week 5

This week I had my first exchange and it was a ton of fun. The Erfurt Elders came over and I spent the day with Elder Obrist.  He is super cool! He is 22, which makes him older than the rest of us. Before leaving for his mission, he worked in the house-building industry and served in the Swiss military, so I was able to learn a lot from him. We had companionship study together and then we went to Schwester Karl's place for an appointment. Schwester Karl is the sweetest lady and always loves having the missionaries over. When we were leaving she gave us a ton of food to take home with us which was dope. I also finished my Technology training this week so I can finally use Facebook now. I'm thankful that we have the blessing of technology as it opens so many opportunities for sharing the love that Jesus Christ has for us with others. Jesus is the Lord Week 11

  Hey Guys!  This past week has been quite great. We were able to meet a few of our friends here in the area. We also decided to introduce ourselves to members by baking cookies and dropping them off at their place. Our plan worked and they loved it. Yesterday I had a great time at church attending the Hohenstein and Chemnitz wards.  I currently serve over 4 wards in the Chemnitz area. It was nice to be able to bear my testimony and meet more members of the wards. Last month this young man from the Philippines messaged me on Facebook.  My last companion and I were able to teach him over a series of video calls. He believed everything we taught him and he loved reading the Book of Mormon (he did it every day and took detailed notes). We were then able to connect him with the sister missionaries in his area, and on Friday I got the wonderful news that he accepted their invitation to be baptized! It brings me so much joy knowing that he is willing to follow the example of Jesus Christ and

Week 79 A second weekly in a row- What's going on!?

Yo was geht ab!? On Saturday I hit my 18th-month mark which is so crazy to think about .  Time really does fly when you're having fun. I also found out that I'll be released on the 21st of July, which was a bit earlier than expected but oh well. The plan right now is for me to join my family in Frankfurt since they'll be there for the summer and go home with them on the 28th. So I'll first be available to meet in person near the end of July and early August. I'm also having to look into housing for BYU already. I'm not really sure if I want to stay on campus or off. For those of you who went to BYU or are there right now, what are the pros and cons of both?  Besides finding out my plans for when I go home, this week has been pretty good. Right now I'm still serving in the city of Hildesheim and I love it here. I've been here for 6 months already, so I'll probably get booted somewhere else next transfer. If I do I hope I go to a big city like Hamburg
